Crew is the henchmen layer in Idle Mafia Game. You hire, you roll rarity, you equip weapons, armor, and vehicles, and you send that roster into Fight, Bosses, heist slots, and turf ticks. Names on the tab without gear are flavor. Gear without Energy and Stamina is a mannequin. Read this page as a loadout desk, not as a gacha wiki.
Hire and roll
The Hire Henchmen portraits are how you grow the bench. Rarity rolls can be manual or, if you accept the risk, Auto Roll Crew Rarity from the scripts list. Lock anything you refuse to vendor before a helper rerolls. Collection stamps variants; Crew wears them. Do not live in Collection and assume you are geared.
Early files need one decent body. Mid files need the slots that heists actually check. Late files need a bench so a war night does not run on one tired portrait. The crew planner splits Energy / Stamina / Health for the player, not for each henchman — still use it, because your bars are what those henchmen ride on.
Gear slots
Weapons feed Fight and heist combat checks — weapons. Armor feeds turf and counters — armor. Vehicles feed getaways and some Operations — vehicles. Auto Equip Best Crew Gear will usually pick the highest relevant stat. Lock a heist kit if you only run locks on weekends so a helper does not swap it for a collection trophy.
Idle property builds still want one gun and one vest so a random Fight is not a wipe. PvP builds want the slots filled before they tap a red district. The tier list already ranks Fight below Jobs; a naked crew makes Fight even worse.
When Crew is the bottleneck
Bosses will gate you on rarity plus a number check. Heists will refuse a slot. Turf ticks will bounce you. Those are Crew problems. Jobs paying slowly is not a Crew problem. The 2D persistent map does not let you walk your crew down a street. You click menus. If a YouTube thumbnail shows a 3D brawler, it is a different Roblox title or the mobile tycoon. This Crew tab is portraits, inspect panels, and an Equip button.
