Idle Mafia Game Jobs
Jobs in Idle Mafia Game on Roblox: Energy spend, XP, cash, which lists to repeat, and how Jobs beat Fight in the first week.
Jobs are the Energy sink in Idle Mafia Game. You open the Jobs tab, pick a contract the HUD says you can finish, confirm, and watch cash plus XP land. That is the whole faucet. Fight is a Stamina bonus. Heists are a hybrid you unlock later. If Energy is full and you are staring at Territory, you are playing the rail in the wrong order.
What a job actually spends
Every job has an Energy cost, a cash range, and an XP tag. Early lists are short and cheap. Later lists take a bigger bite of the bar and pay enough to matter against Port Caldera listings around $500,000 for The Shipyards, Harborfront, and Cannery Row. You will not idle those on tutorial money. You will Jobs until a listing is in reach, buy, then Jobs again. The tier list ranks which contracts to repeat when several are up.
Energy regenerates on a timer. Early points from the starter build go into Energy so you can empty a full set without sitting on the bar. The crew planner will spit the same split if you hate arithmetic. Do not spend those points on Shop cosmetics.
Jobs versus the rest of the rail
Properties pay while you sleep, but they need a down payment Jobs (and Bank) have to earn first. Operations are timed extras sitting next to Jobs — claim the red ping, then return to the list. Bosses gate on Stamina and Crew gear, so they are not a Jobs substitute. Rankings do not pay. Shop spends the dollars Jobs just printed.
Auto Job helpers exist on the scripts page. They will grind the list while you are in another tab. They can also grind the wrong list, vendor a drop, or trip Roblox rules. If you use one, lock the job tier you actually want and still log in to Bank. A helper that fills the street pocket is a donation crate for the next Fight.
Session recipe
Spawn. Check Energy. If the bar is full, Jobs until it is not. Bank anything you are not about to drop on a property. Open Properties. If nothing is in budget, close it. Claim Operations. Only then look at Crew, Fight, or Heists. That order is also step two of the walkthrough and the cash religion in how to get cash.
When a job fails, it is usually an Energy shortfall or a level gate, not a hidden puzzle. Drop to the previous tier. Do not Robux-skip a grey row while The Shipyards is still unbought. The August 30 patch added louder Loot on some job clears; treat extra crates as a bonus, not a reason to skip the Bank.
Jobs stay relevant after you own districts. Expansion to 30 nodes did not retire Energy. A Family war night still wants a full bar so you are not broke when a crown flips. Idle mains still Jobs on login because property ticks are slow compared with a fresh Energy pool. PvP mains still Jobs because Fight targets people who forgot to Bank the job payout.
Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Do Jobs use Stamina?
No. Jobs spend Energy. Stamina is Fight, robberies, and most Boss checks.
Should I skip low-tier jobs?
Skip them when a higher list is green and you can finish it. Grey rows are not a prestige flex.
Can I job while offline?
Energy regenerates offline. The list does not run itself unless you leave a helper on, which is a risk.
